![]() It is extremely easy to come and go from, often a challenge along Las Vegas Boulevard, and sits right across the street from Caesar’s and the Bellagio, and just outside the entrance to the new outdoor pedestrianized LINQ promenade, one of the hottest attractions in the city and home to the High Roller, the world’s tallest observation wheel, the Sin City version of the London Eye, only bigger. ![]() The Cromwell takes a very different approach and is a true boutique hotel - the only standalone one on the Strip - in a prime location. But the only true boutique hotels of note in town to date have been the hidden “hotel-within-hotel” properties like Nobu Hotel in Caesar’s Palace or Hotel 32 in the Monte Carlo, both excellent, and both of which I have written about here in detail. One General Manager told me - in all seriousness - that on the Strip a thousand rooms is a boutique property, and I guess compared to the many 3-7,000 room places it is. “Boutique” is a word that’s thrown around a lot in the world of Las Vegas hotels, but in reality the concept barely exists.
